Where we play

Our retail stores

From Perth to Christchurch, our huge store network spans right across Australia and New Zealand!

Working in our store network is where our team kick-start their careers, grow and develop their skills and progress into management roles.

Our dedicated retail team members master a variety of different skills such as:

  • Providing an in-store experience that inspires and empowers our customers
  • Engaging with our customers by sharing product knowledge and experience
  • Receipting, replenishing and merchandising
  • Keeping up to date with current and new products in our range
  • Working in a team to achieve our mission.

An annual highlight in the calendar is our brand conferences where our entire store management team come together to learn about our strategy, hear directly from our senior leadership, connect with their peers and learn about the latest product news from our trade partners.

Our support offices

(Your base for flexible working!)

Our teams are empowered to make decisions about how, when and where they work. Whether that’s from home – where we can work efficiently, productively and happily, or in the office – where face-to-face helps keep us connected as a team.

Our flexible work practices provide our team with the opportunity to divide their work time between the home and the office. We work out the best way to do this based on our role, our team, our goals and how we are tracking towards them.

Brisbane support office: Strathpine

Our newest support office in Brisbane is a huge 7000m2 of office space, which is around the same size as 14 basketball courts. Our team enjoy a range of different spaces in our campus style building such as collaborative working areas, project tables, quiet zones and other types of break out spaces. The office has quality finishes, loads of natural light, end of trip facilities for those who ride their bike to work such showers, lockers, drying rooms and bike storage as well as a parent’s room and reflection spaces to support our wellbeing. Our team enjoy a range of outside areas including a large BBQ space for catching up with their peers.

rebel home ground: Rhodes

Every great sports team deserves a great home ground. The Sydney office, home to our rebel team, boasts views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a range of new work spaces and improved technology to transform how we work through choice, empowerment and collaboration. The space has been designed as a celebration of sport and passion with meeting rooms named and branded after some of our great Australian teams.

Macpac base camp: Christchurch

We all know how important a base camp is to a successful summit, and this analogy is important as the team works together to reach their summit aspirations for brand growth, brand awareness and enhanced brand success.

Ben McConnell
BCF, Brisbane

Life at SRG started some 22 years ago. While it feels a lot less than that I can honestly say I have not looked back! Starting originally on the shop floor in Supercheap Auto (SCA) as a casual I was fortunate enough to apply my studies and move into the SCA Marketing function, where I had the enviable role of working closely with V8 supercar teams, developing major sponsorships and promotions before moving into the store development space, crafting a series of new store formats. Soon after, BCF was born and I quickly progressed to become a senior leader in BCF. It was here I had the privilege of leading the Marketing and Ecom function for many years before moving on to my current responsibility of leading our 150 BCF stores and 2500 team members around the country as GM of Operations. My journey has been humbling and exciting with incredible development opportunities offered from day one. I can honestly say it’s a brilliant place to work with an incredible people and customer focused culture. I have always loved the saying.. ‘If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,’ and this proves to stand the test of time for me at SRG.

Alex Barry
Human Resources, Brisbane

Super Retail Group has been part of my entire adult life, joining the group as an 18-year-old uni student, who at the time was just looking for a part-time job in an area I was passionate about with Supercheap Auto. Despite graduating university, I had already found that retail and working with Super Retail Group was something I not only enjoyed but was full of opportunities and career development.

Over the past 15 years I have worked in all areas on Retail Operations from Store and Area Management to establishing the Retail Solutions and Execution team to support the store and area network. I have been recognised over this time as the NRA Young Retailer of the Year, Supercheap Auto Assistant Manager of the Year and Operations Team Member of the Year, twice. More recently I had the unique opportunity to lead the Brand Evolution Project to transform and modernise the Supercheap Auto brand identity, collaborating across every touchpoint of the business from store and website design to customer communications.

Justin Murray
Supercheap Auto, Brisbane

My journey with the Super Retail Group began in May 2021 as the Sponsorship and Community specialist for Supercheap Auto. My role involves managing theSupercheap sponsorship portfolio and community programs with our national charity partners. This role allows me to live my two passions every day – sport and givingback to the community. Gaining recognition for my contribution to the team with the ‘Best New Comer 2021’ Award inspires me to invent myself and continue to drive harder for success. I cannot speak highly of the team environment and culture within the business at all levels, it truly makes us stronger together. I’m blessed every day to work for such an amazing organisation making every day SUPER!

Natalie Agius
Supercheap Auto, Brisbane

I first joined Super Retail Group in their Leisure division, drawn to be a part of a company and team culture that inspired customers to live their passion – from sports, to camping to cars. The diversity of SRG’s brands has allowed me to pursue multiple opportunities within the group throughout the years, ultimately leading me to my passion in Supercheap Auto. Now directly accountable for leading the Assortment Planning transformation within Auto, it plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall customer strategy focusing on inventory optimisation. The support from my leaders in SRG has allowed me to participate in SRG’s Women in Leadership program, which fosters a strong community and support network across all the brands. And most recently, the SOULfutures program which focuses on enhancing leadership capability. Knowing I have various progression opportunities available across the group gives the desire to continually strive for more. Gaining recognition with awards such as Merchandise Team Member of the Year, Safety & Innovation & Category Manager of the Year finalist has been a humbling form of thanks from my peers. When you work with such an amazing, talented and passionate team every day, it drives you to want to DO more, BE more and GIVE more. Together, we make it SUPER!

macpac – NZ, Christchurch

My career journey with Super Retail Group started as an entry level casual retail team member employed by Supercheap Auto on the Gold Coast. Fast forward 18 years later – it’s been an amazing and rewarding career where I’ve followed pathways I never imagined in my early days. I’ve had the opportunity to work with inspiring people in all of SRG’s iconic brands across a variety of roles in Retail Management and Human Resources. I am fortunate to have been offered exciting leadership development and growth opportunities which have lead me to my current role as the Head of HR for Macpac, located at Macpac Basecamp in Christchurch, New Zealand. To anyone looking to join Super Retail Group – don’t hesitate to make the move. If you make the most of your time here, invest in yourself, continually reinvent yourself and put yourself out there for all the incredible opportunities available – then you are in for a rewarding career ahead!

Megan Sharp
BCF, Tuggerah

I love working for BCF! Not only has it given me an amazing career but also lets me work flexibly so I can be a great mum and live out my passion
every single day coming to work.

Shelley Cronau
rebel, Sydney

What attracted me to work at rebel was the flexibility and support that rebel has given me so that I can continue my own sporting career while also representing Australia in the highest level in my career. I also enjoy working at rebel because it means even if I am fitting out a little boy for his first soccer match, or helping a new mother get back into her fitness lifestyle, I get to be part of everyone’s journey that comes into my store every day.

Ryan Daniels
Supply Chain, Brisbane

My career at Super Retail Group started at our Lawnton distribution centre in 2012 as a casual team member. Shortly after I joined I was appointed to a full-time role predominantly working in Outbound Dispatch on the PM shift. After 6 years, I switched things up and moved to the AM shift as a team leader for Pick and Dispatch Transport. Here I was part of the team responsible for relocating our main Brisbane warehouse from Lawnton to our current site at Brendale. I had the opportunity to take a secondment into a Fleet Controller role which gave me a taste for what Group Transport was about. Working closely with Group Transport over a couple of peak seasons and then an internal restructure provided me with the opportunity to take on the tasks of the Fleet Controller into my core role. A secondment opportunity arose in Group Transport in March 2022 for three months, which I have since been appointed to permanently. I love being given the opportunity to grow and develop and also to manage my area, with support, while working in the distribution centre roles. Our terrific team discount is also a nice perk!
